Some people believe that a donation to the Capital Project is just about giving money for right now. Their thoughts revolve around the immediate work to be done and the amount of money that must be raised.
We need to instead step back and acknowledge all those who have built and cared for St. Peter’s over the past 150 years. Their will and determination has given us a place to come together in community and friendship today.
Our role as parishioners of St. Peter’s is to make that same path possible for the next generations. Our future children, grandchildren, great grand children, nieces, and nephews are just as worthy to have a chance for the same joy in gathering to celebrate God through worship.
Restoring and repairing the parish buildings at St Peter’s is God’s work.
As St. Francis of Assisi said “For it is in giving that we receive.”
May we all be blessed by “paying it forward”.
Please donate generously to the Capital Project TODAY.
