Youth GroupYouth Ministry – a program for “tweens & teens” – exploring God’s message relevant to the 21st Century

Many Sundays the youth start the morning in the church with their families and part way through

youth 1 leave to attend a short study session. They then rejoin their family for Holy Communion.

Several times a year the youth will lead the congregation in worship – introducing us to new ways to celebrate God in our lives.

The voices of our youth are important to hear as they are a part of our Christian community and the church of the future.

Cowichan Regional Anglican Youth – Connection (CRAY-C)

Twice a month the youth from St. Peter’s get together with youth from nearby Anglican churches for fellowship, food and fun. Events are announced regularly in the weekly announcements.  As well this group has their own Facebook page where they share what they are doing as well as topics of interest to today’s Christian Youth.

During the summer of 2016 a group of our youth headed east to the gathering of the Canadian Lutheran-Anglican Youth (CLAY) event.  The next CLAY event is summer of 2018 in Thunder Bay, Ont.  Please contact a Warden, the Rector or a member of Parish council if you are interested in attending.
